  1. Aaron says:

that’s a very interesting list. Quite inspiring, I think. Imagine the possibilities!

  2. Hmm, perhaps. Most of the people (or at least their blurbs) in the list annoyed me.

  3. Ben Hoyt says:

I had a squiz at it, and there are possibilities, but it bugged me, too. Lots about rich people who play games with big churches and write cheap books. The big and the famous. In a word, far too secular American. Where are the meek, the lowly, the little Christs? Was interested to see Brian McLaren there, and J I Packer.

  4. missy says:

I have read through Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life and done 40 days of Purpose, and a course on spriritual gifting by Bill Hybels and found them to be great, especially helpful in my manangement role within the Church.

  5. I found it refreshing to think that the Power People of the States, who are Power People anyway regardless of their religious inclination, are so interested in such things. What was it? 33 members of Congress are Christians who get together and pray? Fine by me!

That being said, the articles were very ‘numbers focussed.’ “Soandso million people… thousands of dollars…” etc etc etc.

  6. Lot of Christians in Congress and the US still acts like Caesar.
