Loaf & body
Paul the Apostle says “there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.” This appears to me to bind together the loaf and the body pretty tightly, so that in ordinary circumstances those who are part of the one Body should all share the one loaf. A corollary might be that if you won’t share the loaf with someone, you are saying they are not part of the same Body.

also has interesting implications for food-sex
richard, you know nothing about sex, so don’t bother talking about it. I’ve been married nearly a year and I know this about sex; there’s lots to learn and I still hardly know nothing which means there’s stuff to look forward too.
