Because goodness presides and prevails, we gain the courage to pursue another way, defying the common sense of the day with acts that testify to another wisdom, a different vision, a deeper justice: acts as simple as planting a garden, writing a poem, or walking to a church; acts as grand as running for office, starting a grocery store, or having another child.
