Art that is characterised by such a Biblical contextual perspective will expose what is wrong in the world, but it will do so in a way that shows the humble triumph of grace and mercy. It will evoke the presence of God in all his transcendent glory, but will never vaunt piousness as a virtue. It will show a great breadth of perspective &mdash; one that recognises the depth of our human relation to the non-human environment, but in a way that never looks to it as a source of power or wisdom, for they lie with God alone. It will show joy in the midst of a sadness for the stains of sin and rebellion on the world.
