Biomimicry
Janine Benyus’ nine basic principles of biomimicry:
- Nature runs on sunlight.
- Nature uses only the energy it needs.
- Nature fits form to function.
- Nature recycles everything.
- Nature rewards cooperation.
- Nature banks on diversity.
- Nature demands local expertise.
- Nature curbs excesses from within.
- Nature taps the power of limits.
(you might like to insert a less icky word for ‘nature’)

two words in fact..”God Almighty”
Fair enough, but that doesn’t work quite so well because although God does use ‘nature’ in those nine ways (perhaps in the Spirit zooming around over and through everything like in psalm 104) you wouldn’t say they were definitive of God, who (at least in my mind) is associated with not just creation but also recreation, bursting limits, excess, the impossible, surprise, grace, the dearest freshness deep down things.
10. Nature rewards parasites and parasitoids?
