A Mennonite poster Stanley Hauerwas mentions from time to time:
From a lecture at Yale , another Hauerwas quote:
… thinking that Christians are still in control, and so we need to have a third language where we can all get along because we’re still in control, and the Muslims and the Buddhists and the Atheists aren’t. Look! We lost! Christianity lost! Isn’t that terrific? We’re free. We don’t have to have theories about pluralism anymore. Hell – we just gotta get in there and mix it up. We’re free.

I do indeed agree that I will not kill you, Matthew…
… today anyway.
Nice. Want the poster.
You can get it here
Hmmph.
I want genuine pluralism and I think Christianity needs to stop losing for everyone’s sake.
Plus I despise taxation without representation.
I hain’t got the firmest handle on SH, but by losing he doesn’t mean it’s not true, just that it doesn’t run the show (anymore?) and ‘pluralism’ is a word used from above by those who run the show.
I don’t understand what you mean by the taxation statement.
