6-min video introducing MapLight.org which shows money–votes links in US state politics [via WC]

mhjb.co.nz seeks assistance: does anyone know where I can find a long recording of outdoorsy dusky nature sounds? Cicadas, birds, frogs, that sort of thing.

    Hi Mat!
I was on inti’s site which linkaged to your site ( the whole world links uP) and i saw you. NIce blog. Hey….I can help you on this one, Ive had a Brilliant *tape* Out from the WCLibrary, childrens section – a 1970s type recording with Maori/English Narrating bird sounds – the sounds of each species of native bird lasting about 3 minutes. Superb sounds, gets you some interesting looks whilst driving with windows down in the Cap! (ive tried it at volume 30)
