A friend of mine is looking for ideas for facebook applications to develop. Can you suggest any?

Do people make money off those applications (or, as social networking addicts call them, “apps”)?

  2. Matthew says:

Some would from ads. Visual Bookshelf probably gets a small cut if people buy the books listed from Amazon. Some wouldn’t make any money.

I reckon an application that goes and destroys the facebook server would be handy. Or just the million useless applications already out there. Here have a virtual present. and a virtual drink. and a virtual pet. that does nothing. a virtual high five. and a virtual hug. bah.

How about an application that allows the user to take part in endless vampire battles? That’d be cool.

  5. D says:

Thank you Bryan, it is good to see that some still struggle against evil
