a) Perhaps “pretty vapidity” is the point of “American beauty”?
b) Do you think using an un-introduced “we” to refer to your implied significant other is “keeping it real”?
a) No, I think it’s vapid in substance not intent.
b) Um, yes, I suppose I thought it a little garish to have some sort of grand introduction. Though you will notice that the most recent post (written before I read your comment) names that nice lady.
