The Rosalie Gascoigne exhibition on at the City Gallery in Wellington is good and free.
Rosalie Gascoigne, Metropolis, 1999. Retro-reflective road signs. Art Gallery of New South Wales – Gift of the artist 1999. Reproduced with the permission of the Rosalie Gascoigne Estate
“retro-reflective” means that it will reflect light back at the incident angle. they do it with hundreds of little half-cubes of mirrors.
Rad, I didn’t know that. And I didn’t know I didn’t know.
retro reflective surfaces return an image of yourself with long sideburns and a gold medalion on your hairy chest.
dan, you too are a silly billy.
i’m definately gonna go see dat!
What a way to spend a lazy Thursday afternoon. Not the exhibition, I mean this blog. Matt, you are a crazy stallion. Sure, if someone puts oats in the tray, you’ll come in for a feed, but as soon as they shut the gate behind you, you’ll jump the fence and no-one will ever see you again.
Rad man, thanks for stopping by. Can you believe all these people regularly read and comment on the drivel that pours from my fingers? Actually I’m being mildly facetious, this is all there is – I can’t do any better.
wow! what a site?! I wonder what kind of CMS could make a site such as that one
a really really good one
