I also like the way he draws us into an attitude of love – not let-anything-go-looseness, but an always-drawing-on-to-better-things gentleness that accepts weakness, knowing its own weakness and God’s forgiveness.
Oh, and while I’m at it – I also very much like his description of meekness/gentleness: “strength under control”.
